Creativity has always been encouraged at my house growing up, my mother being quite crafty and a talented painter.

Nowadays, she enjoys making these playful clay animals in frames. Perfect for a child's room or for ayone young at heart, for that matter!

My wristlet is off to California!

Although my thing has always been jewelry making, I recently made the jump into sewing, to combine my passion for jewelry with a love of wristlets. My LE BIJOU 3 in 1 Glamourous Wrislets were born, combining shiny luxourious fabrics with great funky beads. And I recently sold my first one on Etsy!

Yeah ! ... and off to california it goes!

Etsy Warmth

The weather here is frigid these days. It's -20 Celsius (that's about -5 Fahrenheit) today, but it went down to -35 Celsius with the strong winds this past Monday. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! So here are some cool Etsy items that feel all warm and cuddly... HOT!

Here is my faithful assistant, Mr Satie, my almost 15 years old Himalayan cat. This is what happens when I try to take pictures of my jewelry. He puts his face right to the lens and licks it. And let's not forget the furry paws on my laptop keyboard!

Paisley Origins

I think this might be one the first paisley items I've owned. I got it over 15 years ago! It was a pair if earrings but sadly one got lost a long time ago... I just love the design ornate yet classy.

May 2008 be the most colourful year!

I have kind of always tought that owning a good looking planner was a good omen to start a new year. Like it will set the mood for the whole year ahead or something...

This is my 2008 Desktop Planner. Its style is quite classic : leather with 2008 embossed on the front. But the color is quite funky and gives it a lot of style. Oh, how I love fuschia!

So let's hope 2008 is full of colourful endavours!
